Orbit Industries 4 in octagon (4O) welded boxes are used in the installation of light fixtures and other electrical devices in walls and ceilings. They are constructed from 16 ga galvanized steel. The 1-1/2 in deep, welded boxes include metal clad clamps for ease of installation. Selected models include a bracket or bar hanger for a range of applications.
With non-metallic sheathed cable clamps. Two 1/2 in conduit knockouts and four cable knockouts (sides). One 1/2 in conduit knockout (bottom). Can be used in the installation of ceiling or wall lighting fixtures or as a junction box. Not designed for ceiling fan support. 50 lb maximum recommended static load. 2-1/8 in deep, 21.5 cu-in capacity. UL listed.
