These bits features a pilot point and split point tip design that starts on contact and helping to reduce bit-walking for control. These bits are commonly used for drilling into stainless steel, angle iron, I-beams and other similar metals. Constructed of M-42 8% cobalt high-speed steel for super abrasive resistance in tough metals. Bits have a 135 deg split point which reduces feed pressure for easier penetration.
